8th International Conference on Agriculture, Horticulture and Food Science held at Hotel Hans, New Delhi

Karnal December 31,     In the 8th International Conference on Agriculture, Horticulture and Food Science held at Hotel Hans, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi on 29-30th December 2018, Dr. Vijay Kumar Kaushik presently working as Asstt. Planning Officer in Additional Deputy Commissioner Office, Karnal was honored with Young Scientist Award-2018 for the considerable contribution in Research and Publications published in National and International Journals. Dr. Kaushik presented a paper in the conference on An Economic analysis on Pulses Production in India & Haryana. For this presentation he was honored with Best Paper Presentation Award-2018. This conference was organized by the Society of Tropical Agriculture, New Delhi. These awards were distributed by Chief guest & Joint Director, Extension Department, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Dr. J.P.Sharma, Joint Director Extension, Horticulture University, Uttrakhand, Dr. A.K. Shukla & Dr. K.K. Pramanik from IARI, Shimla, Dr. L.K Pant, Manager, IFFCo, New Delhi and Vijay Jha, organizer of the conference.

 According to the Dr. Kaushik he has presented his research papers in more than 14 National and International conference, published 15 research papers in National/International Journals, 27 articles in leading magazines and also published a book namely Beekeeping in India-A Profitable Enterprises. Dr. Kaushik has been serving in Department of Economic & Statistical Analysis, Haryana since 2008. In recent days on dated 8-9th December he was also honored with International Best Poster Presentation Award in an International Science Congress-2018 at MMU, Mullana.
