National Youth Awareness Camp organised by Kurukshetra University

Kurukshetra, 7 January: On January 07, 2019 sixth day of NSS Seven Days Camp with the theme of National Youth Awareness Camp organised by Kurukshetra University under the guidance and supervision of Vice Chancellor Dr. Kailash Chandra Sharma and Dean Student Welfare Dr. Pawn Sharma at Pabnawa Village.

In the morning Yoga and Prayer session was held in which all the volunteers performed various exercises and yoga followed by devotional prayers along with NSS song. This session continued for next one hour.

            After Breakfast all the volunteers along with their 4 Program Officers went to Pabnawa Village.  In morning session all the four units divided their volunteers into various sub groups and they were scattered throughout the village for conducting survey. Questionnaire contained various aspect of information regarding family information, health care, farming procedure, waste material management, E-banking, volunteers gave information about more than 12 schemes and also told about their benefits.

            In afternoon session lecture by Dr. Balwan Singh, Agricultural Welfare Officer spread information about Biogas, Bio fertilizer and Organic Farming.  All these activities were performed under the guidance and support from all the 4 units program officers- Dr.Surjeet, Dr.Monika, Dr.Naresh and Dr.Sangeeta
